Dear Terry, Mom says it's time to get writing again. I have a new friend. His name is Leroy the Beagle. Although, sometimes Mom calls him PissPot. Or Stinker. Or HEY! I'm here to tell you he does some crazy stuff! Today, he got a hold of a bottle of Pepto and got the lid off lickety split and all of a sudden, pink stuff all in the carpet!! Mom wasn't home. Dad said OhNoLeroy!! Don't worry, he didn't eat any because it was all over the carpet. Then, after Dad tried to clean it up, Leroy stole the plunger! Right while Dad was peeing!!
Then we ran all through the house. He likes to run and play a lot. I get tuckered out. He howls and poops in the house and gets smacked in the face by PeteyCat. He sure loves Dad though. Mom says Leroy has to go to School. I sure hope he learns to be GoodBoyLeroy! Just like me, I'm GoodBoyFred! I have my doubts.

Oh poor Fred, it's not easy being a big bro, it takes a lot of patience. But you're smart and good and you can do anything, we'll maybe not surfing or snorkeling because of the whole ocean thing, but you can do anything else. I'm sure Leroy will eventually get onto the rules and what a good dog does and doesn't do. The thing about puppies you need to remember is that they're just plain dumb. I have a dumb puppy. They forget to think and just do stupid, bad stuff. Like eat things that are not food and chew things that are not made to be chewed. But they are fun and funny. And they have lots of love in them. I think you need to learn they "eye roll" that's what I have learned to do when Meshie does stupid stuff. I want to get angry, and I sometimes do, but I make myself remember it's puppy stupid that makes him misbehave and I roll my eyes, cuz what can you do?? As they say, you can't fix stupid! Hang on there and hopefully before you know it Leroy will be your crazy, not so bad, little brother.
